Welcome to Oceanic – Wrightsville’s iconic oceanfront restaurant! Panoramic beach views, the soothing sounds of the surf, and the calming atmosphere that only the ocean can bring surround you as you enter our landmark establishment. Oceanic first came onto the Wrightsville Beach dining scene in 1990 and has become a beloved hangout for both locals and visitors who want to immerse themselves in coastal ambiance while enjoying craveable coastal cuisine and craft cocktails.

We offer seasonal, chef-driven menus and daily Chef’s features showcasing coastal-inspired dishes and the freshest local catches available.  Our bar menu delivers everything from creative cocktails to local craft beers and a full array of wine varieties. Our dedicated lot in front of the restaurant offers plenty of complimentary parking during your time with us.

Whether you want to dine and drink indoors or outdoors, Oceanic has a spot for you with a gorgeous view. Choose the first or second floor, or go al fresco for the quintessential coastal experience. In 2013, we rebuilt the iconic 1939 historic Crystal Pier extending a beautifully covered addition to the restaurant that outstretches 475 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, to create a more pleasant environment for our guests. You can even celebrate life’s special moments with private dining in our flexible spaces.  Wherever you land, you’ll be in a prime spot for watching surfers and spotting dolphins.

Want some insider tips to get the most out of your Oceanic experience? While it’s always a great time to come see us, you’ll get seated more quickly if you join us before noon for an early lunch or before 6 p.m. for an early dinner, especially on weekdays. On Sundays our weekly brunch starts at 10 a.m., with live music on the pier during season, so be an early bird and beat the rush. No reservations are needed, and we’ll get you seated as you arrive. If there is a wait, we promise your dining experience will be well-worth it, and welcome you to grab a seat and drink at the bar while you wait.

And while everyone loves summer, the crowds get thinner and the weather gets milder in the months of September-May. Oceanic is open year-round, so come join us in the off-season as well.
